Creating a digital cartographic base in scale of 1:100 000 of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Work was carried out on the updating of digital maps of cartographic material in scale 1:100 000 of the Republic of Kazakhstan regions.

For work were used actual planning-cartographic materials and data of remote sensing satellite images of land-areas in different resolution.

With the Easy Trace and ArcGIS software was held vectorization, topological correction and objects encoding. The following works carried out: migration and fusion of data into a single GIS database, layered grouping of objects according to regulatory specifications, and updating of digital maps.
